What a Week!

Well it is Friday and am I happy or what. This week has been rough. This is the first time this week I have been able to relax. I had a lot of rehearsals this week for scenes for my Directing class, then I had a meeting about the Disney College Program, then I also had a dinner and movie with my two bosses of my secretary job. On top of this I had many assignments due and had to dress of two days this week. This week we also had above normal temps, we hit around the 80s all week. It was nice but rough when I was as busy as I was.
Well this weekend is Easter and I am not able to go home. I work in the computer lab on saturdays and sundays and I was not able to ask for subs. So many people were looking for subs and I really doubt some of them found someone to take their shift. I wish that they would have just closed all but one lab but that didnt happen so here I am and here I will be all weekend. Anyways Happy Easter to all!
There are 3 weeks left of the semester before finals. I can not wait for the semester to be over because that means I only have a semester left. This semester has been tough but great at the same time. I have been doing great in all my classes and I am looking forward to seeing my finals grades in May. My fiance will be graduating in May and I am so excited for him. I wish that I could have been graduating but things to happen. It will just be me in December. Next semester I will be taking a few classes to finish up my degree. My fiance hopefully will be starting his masters in UIS and then I will be joining him after graduation to start our life together. Life is great and it will always be that way through good times and bad!!

It is Spring!!

Well it is Spring but at times it sure doesnt look or feel that way. Well I have not wrote on my blog for a long time so I thought I would update. I am currently still at WIU finishing up my Spring semester. Classes have been going great this semester and things are looking great in terms of school. I will not be graduating in May but I will be in December. Either way I am happy to say that I will be graduating eventhough I have went through a lot of hard times. I have decided to stay in the area next semester instead of Springfield. I felt like the drive up here every Tuesday and Thursday was going to hard. So after I graduate in December the plans are to move in with Scott in Springfield. Other than that everything has been fine this semester. I have made new friends and I have kept myself busy.
It looks like I will helping in some form with the summer musical in my home town this summer. I can not wait! I hope that I will be able to take part in a big role as maybe Assistant Director, but I know no matter what position I will have a great time and get plenty of experience for the future. Well I am about ready to get off of work so until next time take care!

Holidays

Well Happy Holidays to all. It is yet again Christmas and home with the family.
I just finished what was suppose to be my last fall semester at WIU. But due to some issues it may not be my last. Whatever happens I know I will graduate very soon I just have to keep up everything that I have been doing and never give up. Scott will be graduating in May and will hopefully be going to the University of Illinois in Springfield in August to get his Masters. I was suppose to be going with but this will all depend on my school. I know if I dont get to go in August I will be able to be there someday soon. It is going to be a hard spring semester without him but thanks to all my friends I will get through it. Whatever happens I know he is still a phone call away and I will see him a few times over the semester.
Well we have went through another Christmas and it seems to be the same each year with my family. This year I got two gifts which was more then I thought I was going to get because my parents have done so much for me this year. The trick is these two gift one from my parents and one from my sister were the same. Yeah the same!! Well I have decided that the one I take back will buy me a pair of jeans that I need greatly. Also I will be heading to Scott's house on Friday for New Years and he got me two gifts and his family got me a gift too. It always makes me feel so special when I get gifts from them. Each year I open gifts from them I cant believe the thought they always put in. This year yet again I cant wait to open them.
Well I better stop writing I know I have not wrote in awhile but here is a short of what has happened. Take care everyone and happy holidays!!!

Big Weekend

Well Scott came home on Saturday. I picked him up in Macomb around 7pm and then we headed towards Moline. That night we did not do much but sit around. The next day we went a little shopping and then the family had a little get together for Scott for his birthday. It was really nice to see the family again. Then on Monday I had to leave by 2pm to get to work in Macomb in time. Me and Scott got some lunch and headed down to a river to sit on the side on a rock and each and just hang out. After eating we stayed and talked and looked at fish. Then when we were about ready to eat Scott got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. The first thing that came out of my mouth was "you got to be kidding me" but then I started to cry and so on. It ended up being a great day and one that I will never forget. The way it happened was great because of the surroundings and it was just special. I dont know what else to say I am so happy and I am now engaged to a great man. I love you scott!!

A new experience!!

Well I got to go to Washington DC to see Scott. I thought that I would not be able to go but thanks to his great parents I was able to fly. Yeah I said fly!! It was my first time flying, but I will tell you it was an experience I will never forget!!
To start off I was to take off from Moline airport on Wednesday at around 5:30pm. When I got there I found out that my flight was delayed. That was just the start!! When I finally took off and then landed in Atlanta the flight from there to DC was also delayed. They just kept on delaying this one. By the time I landed in DC it was 2:30am and that is bad when I was suppose to be there at 12:00am. Scott had to work the next day and I had to go with him. We had to wake up at 7am in order for him to get to work in time. That morning he helped me get a metro pass. It was going to be the first time on a Metro for me. At noon that day I meant up with Scott and some of the others to go to the capitol to get a tour. The last time I was in DC was in high school and I did not enjoy it much. I will tell you that this time I enjoyed it a lot more. It is better when you can go on your own. Other things that I did was I went to see the memorials, and some of the cemetaries. I also got to see the new WWII memorial. It is really pretty. On Saturday me and Scott went to the Zoo. We also went to a mall and the Air and Space Museum. I also go to go see Batman Begins.
Well the excitment did not end there!! When I left on Monday I was suppose to make it back in Moline by 10:30pm. Well the flight from DC to Atlanta was delayed and by the time I made it to Atlanta I found out I had missed my connecting flight and the next flight was not till the next day. So I had to stay in Atlanta over night. Thanks to Scott's great parents again I was able to get a hotel room. The airline only gave us a discount on the room!! I had to miss work the next day because I was not going to be home in time. I finally landed in Moline around 12:30pm on Tuesday.
I did enjoy my first flight, and I will never forget all the interesting experiences that I got troughout that weekend. I was happy to spend time with Scott. We both really missed each other. Thanks to his parents we were able to spend time together. His parents were also life savers in a time of need!! I will never forget what his parents did for me and Scott, and I will never forget my time that I had. Thanks so much Don and Karla!!!!!!!!

Well July is almost over

Well it is now the middle of July and closing into the end. I can not wait to start school again. I want to get done and get my life started on my own. I also found out in the past week that Scott's parents are helping get a plane ticket so I can go see scott and the area. I dont know how to thank them for it. It really meant a lot to me and scott for them to do such a wonderful thing. I will never forget it and I know I will be paying them back with more then just money. They deserve more!! Im really glad that I found such a great guy and a great family to go along with him. They are truly great people.
Well to get on to what else has been going on!
Im still working but now working almost everyday closing. It makes me tired and not much time to myself, but in the long run Im getting money so I can pay bills. I really hope everything will work out during the school year and I will be able to pay off most of my bills before I graduate. I will keep my fingers crossed and work hard at everything next school year. Also in the past week I got a new cell phone and I had to change my number so here is the new number and I will also get a hold of everyone to tell them.(309)-255-3454
Well im going to get going but until next time take care!!
THANK YOU so much Don and Carla!!!!

July is here

Well July is here and so it is closer to the end of the summer. I found out on the 4th that one of my friends from the camp I worked at last summer died. She dropped one night during checking the girls and died 45 min. after getting to the hospital. It makes you really think on how life is so short. You have to live every minute of everyday because it might end that quick. I also found out that I will not have the money to go see scott this summer. I just dont have the money this summer. I know I just cant wait to see him though. You never realize your love for someone until you are apart for a period of time. Our 2 year is in August and I know it will be special. I cant believe it has been 2 years already. I know it will be many more though. Well I needed to post again so this is all for now. Take care!!
